Logical puzzles in technical interview:

1. There is a farmer with a sheep, a fox and food for the sheep in a bag, whose house is across a river. There is only one boat available, which can accommodate only 2 things. What is the best combination in which all of the things can be moved to the other side of the river?

 conditions:

> if the fox and sheep are left alone, the fox will eat the sheep.

> if the sheep and its food is left behind, the sheep will eat it.

2. There are 4 people, who travel across a bridge different speeds as mentioned below:

 A - 1 min

 B - 2 mins

 C - 3 mins

 D - 4 mins

 there is only one torch available, and they all have to cross a bridge, which can withstand only 2 people at a time.

What is the best combination to make them all of them to the other side in the least time.
